In what has been a very busy week, we have had some ‘Acting Principals’ who ‘cashed’ in some of their tokens at the end of 2021 supporting in the AP office. Will and Xavier spent time completing some principal admin tasks, handing out tokens and met with Mrs A and Miss Wojcik to discuss what needed to be done. Thanks for your help Will and Xavier.
Brody and Zave also took on this role and helped with distributing face masks, preparing SWPBS resources to be in all classes and helping with the end of the day announcements over the PA, to name a few tasks. It was certainly a busy afternoon for these ‘Acting Principals’ but their support was very much appreciated. Look out for more ‘Acting Prins’ in the next Link.
Mrs A has been working with the senior teachers in the Senior Space and we have some amazing teaching and learning happening in there. Students are becoming more familiar with the new model of learning and it is so great to see and hear students taking more ownership of how they learn and what they are learning through conversations with their Teachers and ES Support Staff.
Brekky Club started this week and it is so encouraging knowing we are supporting our students who may not have had access to brekky. We had some toasties, yoghurt and fresh fruit! A massive thanks to the businesses and the staff who support this.
A reminder from our P&FG, some of our families and staff will be down at the Bunnings BBQ this Saturday in Leopold. Come down to volunteer or grab a snag to support our school. If you would like to volunteer, see the post in this week’s Link to register.
Also attached is a flyer for a new Occupational Therapy and Wellness Hub. If you are trying to source an OT for your child/ren please take a look and consider this new business, as they are taking referrals.
