Specialist Program

Drysdale Primary School’s vision is to be fully inclusive in providing the highest quality of education for each one of its students in their academic learning, and the personal development of their skills in four specialist subject areas:

  • LOTE – Indonesian
  • Performing Arts incorporating drama, music and movement
  • Physical Education
  • Visual Arts

We are very fortunate to have ample resources to complement our specialist program. This includes a full sized indoor basketball court, school hall with stage, dedicated art room with a pottery kiln, full sized oval, cricket nets, two outdoor basketball/netball courts and a 500m running/walking track,

A major event of every year is the Whole School Concert held in our school hall at the end of Term 3. This is the culmination of the Performing Arts program and with close to 800 people in attendance, it is a highlight for so many of our community.

We hold a biannual Art Show where we come together to showcase the wonderful creations of our students in the Visual Arts program. We also regularly feature our artworks at The Geelong Show and have come away with many awards over the years.
