Thank you for taking the time to read the information sent out at the end of last week and over the weekend. The most important thing for me to ask is that families follow the testing regime and keep in contact with the school.
I understand that it can seem difficult to let us know that your child has tested positive – there were four positives yesterday across Prep, Year 1 and Year 6. But open communication is how we will manage the risks.
When there are positive cases reported at school, other children in the same class are not automatically considered a close contact. We will advise other families in an affected class to monitor their children for symptoms and test if necessary.
If you or your child test positive, your family are considered household close contacts and must isolate for seven days. Children who are household close contacts must not attend school. Children who are showing symptoms, even if they have not tested positive, must not attend school.
