Congratulations to the students who have just represented Drysdale Primary School at the Western Metropolitan Region Athletics and the Bellarine Division Golf.
At the Athletics, we had a small team head up to Keilor to take on the best athletes in the Western quarter of the state. We are really proud of our team’s performance as they did not let the big occasion get the best of them.
Athletics Results
Adam M – 1st place Boys 11-12 200m, 2nd place Boys 11-12 Shot Put, 3rd place Boys 11-12 100m
Spencer L – 11th place Boys 9-10 High Jump
Mariah M – 14th place Girls 9-10 Long Jump
Adam has now qualified for the State Track & Field Championship at Albert Park next week. This is a terrific achievement in itself and we wish him the best of luck and would love to see him achieve even more success.
Back a little closer to home, we had a team of 13 students head to Clifton Springs Golf Course to compete in the Bellarine Division Golf on Monday. This competition was open to any primary school student who lived on the Bellarine and there were some pretty serious performers. We are really proud of how many of our students put their hand up to play and we had the biggest team in attendance. With so many of our team in the Middle Years, they will be practically veterans by the time they hit Year 6!

A huge thank you must go the parents who helped transport and supervise our competitors at both events. It has been lovely to see our community work together to enable as many students to enjoy these opportunities as possible.
