We are into May already and there are so many great things happening across the school this month. School photos and the Superwoman Stall this week, along with some excursions and incursions, means there is lots of excitement around the school.
This week we had Violet from Year 6 share some work from her Inquiry Learning project in Term 1. She is very passionate about saving and protecting animals, particularly elephants, and wrote to a company to share her concerns about the use of palm oil. This company replied with their plan to reduce their use and ensure it is managed in a sustainable way. It was so great to read this correspondence and hear of the thoughtful work from Violet in going beyond the project’s expectations. Well done Violet!!
RDA is happening again this Friday. We look forward to watching the students attending this continue to develop in confidence when riding their horse.
Thank you to those that attended the School Volunteer and Helper Training session this afternoon. We can’t wait to have you all supporting our staff and students in class and in the school. If you couldn’t make it today, not to worry. We are running another session next Wednesday May 12, at 5pm.
