Last Thursday, the Year 4 students went on an excursion to the Geelong Library as part of our Inquiry big idea ‘Australian laws and values reflect our local democratic society’. The students thoroughly enjoyed a tour of the Geelong Library, where they explored the services provided by the library and had story time with one of the librarians. We also walked around the Geelong CBD to explore a range of other local services Geelong has to offer.
Tilly – I learnt that the Queen has been to Geelong because we saw plaque at the Geelong council building.
Alannah – I enjoyed exploring all of the books at the Geelong Library.
Harry – I enjoyed listening to the stories in the Geelong Library. My favourite book was ‘I say Ooh you say Ahh’.
