Yesterday, our four Year 6 school captains Dom, Liv, Harry and Zahra represented the school at the Drysdale Remembrance Day Ceremony. They joined members of the RSL and representatives of other local organisations to remember the sacrifice of so many people through conflicts over the last century. Our captains read a poem and laid a wreath on behalf of our community. Please read on for photos.
On Friday 8th November, four of our Year 6 leaders Mia, Tom, Oscar and Isabella attended a Remembrance Day Commemoration at Drysdale Grove. These leaders also read a poem as part of the commemoration.
Both groups of students represented the school with distinction. It is very rewarding as a Principal to see Year 6 students whom I have known since they started school in Prep demonstrate such maturity and respect as school leaders.
