Wow, we have finally reached the end of term one. Its been a great term, and it has been so good to see so many children having fun at OSHC. We hope all of the children, teachers, staff, parents and families at Drysdale Primary School have an enjoyable and safe autumn school holidays, and that we see you all again all relaxed and rested up, ready for next term.
Popular activities for this past week have included outdoor play, LEGO construction, talking about Pokemon, Easter card making, Connect 4, Chess, UNO, Hangman, Football and Cricket. The most popular activities, however, have been Gaga ball, and participating in our Easter colouring in competition,
This week we have planned a joke night to mark April Fools day, making Easter baskets, decorating paper Easter eggs, taking about their plans for their holidays, and talking about Obstacool, which the children have been eagerly anticipating.
With only one week left of School for this term don’t forget about School Holiday Program. As many of you have been informed via an email from Camp Australia, unfortunately we will no longer be offering School Holiday program at Drysdale Primary School. This is due to the low number of children that attended the service in previous school holidays. Camp Australia, however, will be offering Holiday club at other schools in the Geelong area. Our theme for these holidays is Jungle Jam, with lots of fun activities planned. Our closest Camp Australia School Holiday clubs are Ocean Grove Primary School, Geelong East Primary School, Geelong Lutheran College, Fyans Park Primary School and Montpellier Primary School. To find out what’s planned for each of these services during the school holidays and join in the fun, visit:www.campaustralia.com.au/holidayclubs. You can also call our friendly Customer Care Team on 1300 105 343 – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you and your family at Jungle Jam.
OSHC at Drysdale Primary School operates out of the School hall, We open at 7:00 each school day, and send the children off at 8;45, with the prep students being walked over to their classrooms by an educator for at least the first 6 weeks. At 3:30 the children attending after school care walk over to the hall from their classrooms (once again preps are picked up from their classrooms) and we provide a safe place for them to play and engage with other children until they are collected. Our closing time is 6:00. For more information on our service and fees, you may visit our website www.campaustralia.com.au. If you prefer to speak to us, you can contact our friendly Customer Care Team that is available to support our families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – except for National Public Holidays. Alternatively, you’re welcome to visit us in service and chat with our qualified Educators about the Camp Australia program at your child’s school.
A friendly reminder for parents that for staffing and catering purposes children should be booked into OSHC through the Camp Australia head office, and that should you need to cancel their booking please can this be done through head office as well. This works out much cheaper for you, as there are additional fees involved if children do not attend sessions they are booked in for. Bookings can be made or cancelled by logging into the Camp Australia website https://www..campaustralia.com.au or by ringing 1300 105 343.. The team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except National Public Holidays).
We look forward to seeing you and your family soon! From the Team at Camp Australia.
