We had three Drysdale students head off to Doncaster Athletics Track with Mrs McGeorge to compete in the Primary School Deaf Sports Day. A big thankyou to Sandra King who assisted with the team on the day.
Ava (Yr 2) – on Thursday last week we went to the Primary Deaf Sports Day in Doncaster. It took 2 and a half hours to get there. I had lots of fun and I won a first place ribbon for the 100m sprint for 7 year old girls.
Lily (Prep) – I won first a place ribbon for the 80m sprint for 6 year old girls. I had lots of fun there and we did lots of activities. My favourite was the circus tricks activity.
Prue (Yr 2) – I won a well done ribbon in the 8 year old girls 100m sprint. My favourite activity was running. We met other children with hearing aids and cochlea implants.
