Tomorrow is the big day … it is our Slime Spectacular!
We have spectacular weather on order and everything is all set for a memorable day.
Remember to dress your children in a white t-shirt (black/dark if they don’t want to get slimed) that will get very, very dirty. It sounds like K-Mart and Target are a good source of cheap t-shirts. The remainder of the outfit should be casual clothes that don’t matter if they get slimed. Think old shoes, old shorts, etc. You can also add some colour to your outfit to go with the theme.
Note – Participating students will be provided with sunglasses to reduce the risk of slime getting in their eyes.
Last Minute Fundraising Update
We are getting very close to our fundraising target, thanks to some tremendous efforts from our students. The fundraising closes tomorrow, so tonight is your last chance to raise some funds.
Once you have finalised your fundraising, students can then order their choice of prize that they have qualified for through their profile page on myprofilepage.com.au. These prizes will arrive early next term.
There will still be headbands for sale tomorrow (gold coin donation), as well as the Guess the Easter Egg Competition (50c a guess).
We will also be selling our remaining tickets to the Slime the Principal and Slime the Teacher/Volunteer Run tomorrow morning. These cost $10 each and will be such a fun way to finish the afternoon.
Volunteers
We are so excited and thankful that we have volunteers for our first major event of 2021!
Important – All volunteers must have a current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) to be able to volunteer. Hopefully by now, you have provided the office with either a copy of your WWCC or the confirmation email stating it has been approved.
Remember to dress in bright colours and be prepared to get very messy. A towel or change of shoes may be a good idea.
Group 1 (12:45 start) – Please meet at the First Aid tent at 12:30pm for a quick briefing.
Group 2 (1:45 start) – Please meet at the First Aid tent at 1:30pm.
