There has been a lot of information shared with families over past week and we thank you all for reading it and helping implement these small changes to school life. This is to ensure the health and safety of all in our community and we thank you for being able to adjust and make these changes work. We have saved the communications on the Parent Portal (Sentral) should you need to refer back to any information.
This morning we welcomed back our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students. While there were a few tears, our students walked through their new designated gates with smiling faces and a spring in their step. The drop off times ran so smoothly and our staff were happy to welcome students into the school and escort them to classes if needed. It was great to talk about their remote learning and to see them play and laugh and smile with their friends again. Thank you to all our P-2 families for ensuring a smooth drop off for day one, we appreciate your support.
Students enjoyed some specialist classes, working in their classrooms, learning about the new hygiene procedures and spending time with their teachers and classmates. Onsite students have continued with their Remote Learning Grids, WebEx meetings and enjoyed catching up with some of their 3-6 and Specialist teachers. Just a reminder that ALL students are asked to wear their school uniform as of today whether attending their classroom or being supported in a remote learning capacity on school grounds. We look forward to welcoming back the rest of the Year 3-6 students on June 9th.
