From Thursday afternoon the Art Show will be set up using the hall, so OSHC will use the space in the BER on Thursday and Friday afternoon.
It has been another action packed week at OSHC, with the children settling down back into the school routine. Popular activities have included Lego, beading, drawing, playing Monopoly, and playing with the car mats.
Please be advised that this Thursday and Friday we will not be located in the hall for After School Care due to the Art show. It is most likely that we will once again be in the area at the end of the grade one corridor, but this will be confirmed by a text message on the day.
Please also be advised that this service will be closed on Wednesday due to the Geelong Cup Public Holiday.
We know that we sit alongside our parents as we are there when they can’t be. Therefore, safe care is the most important pillar in what we do every day. To ensure that we are fully prepared and equipped to give care to the kids, especially to those who have medically diagnosed condition or allergy.
We will require our parents to submit fully completed medical forms or if you have submitted the forms previously, you will need to have it updated if there are changes with your child’s condition or medication. The following medical forms is required to help our staffs take better care of your child as per his/her needs;
- Authorisation for Management Plans to be Followed – This form must be completed by the Parent and attached the Medical Management Action Plans provided by their family doctor.
- Medical Authorisation Form – it needs to be submitted and signed by the Parent if his/her child requires medication to be administered while attending the program.
- Medical Management Forms – 1 form should be completed by your Doctor per diagnosed medical condition.
Meet the Team: We’re here to make OSHC the best experience possible. If you have any questions about the program, feel free to drop by, meet the team and see what happens first hand in the program.
A friendly reminder for parents that for staffing and catering purposes children should be booked into OSHC through the Camp Australia head office, or if it is impractical to do so, through a staff member at OSHC. Where possible bookings and cancellations should be made through the Camp Australia Head Office website https://www.campaustralia.com.au/ or phone number, which is 1300 105 343. This is to ensure that we have adequate numbers of staff present to care for your children, and that we have prepared enough food to go around at snack time.
