As previously mentioned at assembly, this year there will be a photography competition to determine the front cover of the school magazine. Students wishing to have their photography considered for the front cover need to submit their photograph on a USB stick to Miss Stark by this Friday 20th October. USB sticks will be returned one week later. Photos don’t have to fit with any theme so students can be as creative as they like. We can’t wait to see what snaps you take!

This Thursday the 19th of October we are holding our information session for parents who will have a student in Prep in 2018. The session will be held in the Year 6 learning space and will start at 6.30pm. Parents can enter from the veranda on the new extension at the front of the school.

This Friday we welcome parents from all year levels into the staffroom for a morning tea and a catch up. Come in and grab a tea/coffee and some morning tea while you catch up with other DPS parents, carers and families. Morning tea will be available in the staffroom from 11.10am.

This week’s Nude Food Winners are;
Rebecca of Year 2 and Zahra of Year 4 they both received a Prize from Coles Drysdale!
The classes with the highest number of students with Nude Food were 2TB and 4L .
Well done and remember to bring your nude food in NAMED containers.

Even though we request parent volunteers from a year level each week, if you have time to spare on a Friday morning we would love your help. We have a couple of parents who volunteer every Friday that would love some help.
This Friday, 20th October, we are asking for parent volunteers of Year 1 students to help cut up fruit. If you can assist, please sign in at the office and come to the staff room at 9am.
