The City of Greater Geelong Youth Development Unit are running free cyber safety information sessions for parents and young people across the Geelong region in 2017.
These sessions are run by young social media experts. Sessions are aimed at parents who want to understand young peoples use of the internet, social media and gaming. They include information on bullying from a preventative aspect and also legally what you can do, and who to turn to if it happens to you/your child.
Sessions draw experience from social media experts, law enforcement and youth workers.
Sessions run from 6:30–8:00pm and include a one hour presentation followed by a 30 minute question and answer time.
