Congratulations to this week’s recipients of a Principal’s Award;
Tilly of Prep M – For doing a fabulous job during our inquiry sessions. Tilly researched the human brain and wrote down facts that she learnt. Outstanding achievement for a prep student!
Harper of Prep – Harper utilised amazing research skills to find out facts about the human body and then created a fantastic digital information text on the iPad. Well done, Harper!
Harley of Year 1 – For your ability to think outside the square and find a solution to any problem you come across. When presented with a problem, you always approach it with enthusiasm and a great big smile!
Jaya of Year 2 -Jaya your story about the ‘mysterious cave’ was very creative. You included the correct text structure for a narrative, and used a mish-mash of great ideas, sentence lengths and WOW words for your characters and setting! Love your work.
Grace of Year 3 – For always being an outstanding, diligent, supportive and hard-working student. You are a strong leader within the classroom, you demonstrate empathy and consideration towards your peers and you always try your best. You should be proud of your positive attitude towards your learning.
John of Year 4 – For all your hard work during Maths, for never giving up when you are faced with challenges. Keep up the fantastic effort and the positive attitude. Well Done!
Thomas of Year 5 – For his consistent effort in all areas of the curriculum. Tom works hard, and courageously asks questions when he is unsure of something. Well done Tom.
Shontae of Year 6 – Congratulations to Shontae Pearson for her outstanding commitment to Drysdale Primary School’s Kids Matter values. In particular, her attitude to problem solving, communication and respect.
Zahlia of Year 3 – For her outstanding performances in the House Athletics where she was competing against kids a year older than her. Zahlia will be one to watch in 2018.
Reuben of Year 3 – For attending the House Athletics despite being unable to compete, and giving up his whole day to help run one of the Long Jump pits. Thank you Reuben.
