Drysdale Primary is an Active Travel school which means we like to encourage students and parents to actively walk,
ride, scoot, skate, skip to school.
This first term is a great time to start travelling more actively. Many families choose a day of the week that suits them to walk to or from school.
Active travel builds fitness and enhances a students ability to concentrate. Walking to school also builds a student’s awareness of their environment and the community around them.
Walk-to-School day is coming up in March. If you have any active travel issues or ideas, we would love to hear from you.
