This year we have started a new program which we call ‘Hands On Learning’. Each Tuesday afternoon, we undertake engaging, practical activities that offer new and different skills to our students.
We are meeting new people and learning about groups within our community such as The Clifton Springs Men’s Shed, the Queenscliff Croquet Club and the local Drysdale Library. We also have a groups who are working weekly in our school garden to ensure our composting, worm farms herbs and vegetables are maintained and producing effectively.
If there are any parents who can help with this program – or if you have any special skills, hobbies or talents you can teach our Middle Years students please speak to your students teacher as we would love to hear about some new and interesting ideas.
