Walter of Prep – Congratulations Walter for successfully remembering all the instructions on how to make your clay bowl in Art! There was a lot of steps and you followed them all very carefully and created a great artwork! Well done, Walter.
Luella of Junior – For demonstrating SUCCESS in your writing and your motivation to write with more ease. You have been able to follow the structure of an information report and have
written facts in a clear and understandable way. Well done on building your confidence to write more, as it has led to greater SUCCESS. Keep up the terrific work.
Jaylah of Junior – Congratulations Jaylah on your fantastic improvement in your reading this semester! You have a range of different strategies for solving unfamiliar words and you are becoming more proficient in understanding what is going on in the text. You have a love of reading and it is pleasing watching you have so much success.
Ayden of Junior – Ayden, you showed a lot of enjoyment in researching a chicken in non-fiction texts recalling lots of different interesting facts. You were able to create a fantastic informative text with
diagrams and photographs to add meaning. Well done!
Tilda of Middle – Tilda, I have been so impressed by the effort you have put in this term. This week in Writing it was great to see you so engaged. You completed some great descriptive sentences about cheetahs, giraffes and lions, using the correct structure. Keep up the amazing work, Tilda!
Jordan of Senior – We have been impressed by the way you consistently apply yourself within the Senior Learning Community. You listen to advice given to you and make necessary changes to your work.
Enjoyment
Dontae of Junior – For showing great Enjoyment in your information texts these last few weeks. Your research on the emu has been amazing and I cannot wait to see your final copy. Really well done Dontae.
Eddie of Junior – You are an open minded learner who approaches every activity with a ‘can do’ attitude. You respond positively to feedback and you see the fun in every learning activity. This was shown when you happily worked in a group to create your Rube Goldberg machine.
Taylah of Middle – Taylah, it was great to see you showing lots of enjoyment in Writing this week. When working with your group you shared lots of interesting facts about lions and used the facts to write some fantastic descriptive sentences. You included some great adjectives in your sentences and you followed the correct structure. Well done Taylah!

Kai of Middle – Kai, you have worked extremely hard throughout Semester One. You always make sure that you are giving your best effort and you are beginning to be rewarded for your wonderful attitude. You should be so proud of yourself, Kai!
