We are back for Term 2 and it has been busy. It is lovely to see so many students arriving for a toastie before heading to class and getting ready for their day of learning.
Thank you to all the families that supported us in Term 1 with some very kind donations. If you would like to support us during Term 2 we are always in need of brown paper bags, disposable spoons and strawberry/raspberry jam or vegemite.
We also use margarine each day for our toast and sandwiches so if you would like to donate in support of the Breakfast Club, any of those items are used in great quantity each week and are very much needed and appreciated. There is a tub in the foyer of the school office that you can drop your donations to at any time.
Later this term we are hoping to have some of our Year 6 leaders from Kids Matter joining us to help with serving their peers. Letters will be shared to these families in the coming weeks about how their children may be able to get involved to support Breakfast Club this year.
It has been a great addition to our school and we are so grateful to the local businesses and our families that are so generously donating food and other items for it to run twice a week.
