The entire Team at Camp Australia Drysdale Primary School OSHC would like to wish the Drysdale Primary School community a very Happy Christmas, and a relaxing, safe and enjoyable summer holiday period. We hope to see some of you at our School Holiday Program, and if not, we will see you in term 1 2022
A special thank you and farewell to our departing Grade 6 students, especially Isabella and Jasmine. Your leadership, kindness, and helpfulness within the program has been greatly appreciated, and you will be greatly missed by everyone.
Camp Australia Drysdale Primary School OSHC is proud to announce that we will now be offering School Holiday Program. Our program this summer will run from the 10th of January to the 27th of January 2022. You can view the fun filled and action packed program, and make bookings, at https://campaustralia.com.au/schools/6F2D?keyword=rocketeers. You can also make bookings through the normal Camp Australia app. You must be registered with Camp Australia to make any bookings. Copies of the program are also available at the school office and at OSHC.
Please be advised that the holiday club at Drysdale Primary School may be run by different educators, so you will need to provide photo ID when collecting your children to ensure children’s safety.
If you need care for your children during the week between school ending and Christmas our Holiday program at East Geelong Primary School will be running during that week.
In line with current government directives we ask that all children in grades 3-6 (other than those with a medical exception,) wear a face mask when they are inside at OSHC. If your child has a medical exemption could a copy please be provided to the service ASAP. We thank families and children who have complied thus far with this directive and supported us, and the school, on this matter.
The return of warmer weather means that hats need to come to after school care as well as to school. This was an issue earlier this year, as few children brought their hats. It doesn’t have to be a school hat, any sun smart hat is fine. Maybe a spare hat could live in the bottom of the bag if children don’t want to remove their hats from their classrooms? We hope to spend as much time outside as possible so we really need your support in this matter.
Parents please be reminded that in order to use the service they need to be registered with Camp Australia… We are unable to accept children into the service who are not registered with Camp Australia. Bookings can be made or cancelled by logging into the Camp Australia website https://www.campaustralia.com.au or by ringing 1300 105 343, or using our parent portal app. The team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except National Public Holidays).
We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
