We are gearing up for our “Your Talent Week at Camp Australia Drysdale Primary School OSHC. Over the course of next week we will be focusing on encouraging the children to share and celebrate their talents, with focuses such as Dance, Tumble and Spin, Champions of the Trace and Field, Artists Gallery, Joke Night, all in preparation for our special Talent Show on Friday the 26th of November.
Although it still doesn’t feel like it, it is time to start thinking about your plans for your children for over the Summer school holidays. Bookings are now open for Camp Australia School Holiday “Rocketeers”programs for over the summer holidays. Rocketeers Holiday club will be open from Monday the 20th of December to Friday the 24th of December, and then reopens from the 4th of January and running through to the end of the holidays, excluding Weekends and the Australia Day public Holiday. Copies of the program that will be on offer at all Camp Australia Rocketeers Holiday Clubs are now available on the Camp Australia School Holiday Club website, which is https://campaustralia.com.au/rocketeers Our closest Rocketeers programs are Ocean Grove Primary School and East Geelong Primary School (Geelong East will not be open 4th-7th of January.) In the wider Geelong area Rocketeers programs are also located at Fyans Park Primary School and Geelong Lutheran College.
In line with current government directives we ask that all children in grades 3-6 (other than those with a medical exception,) wear a face mask when they are inside at OSHC. If your child has a medical exemption could a copy please be provided to the service ASAP. We thank families and children who have complied thus far with this directive and supported us, and the school, on this matter.
The return of warmer weather means that hats need to come to after school care as well as to school. This was an issue earlier this year, as few children brought their hats. It doesn’t have to be a school hat, any sun smart hat is fine. Maybe a spare hat could live in the bottom of the bag if children don’t want to remove their hats from their classrooms? We hope to spend as much time outside as possible so we really need your support in this matter.
Parents please be reminded that in order to use the service they need to be registered with Camp Australia… We are unable to accept children into the service who are not registered with Camp Australia. Bookings can be made or cancelled by logging into the Camp Australia website https://www.campaustralia.com.au or by ringing 1300 105 343, or using our parent portal app. The team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except National Public Holidays).
We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
From the Team at Camp Australia Drysdale Primary School OSHC
