We hope that the entire Drysdale Primary School Community had a amazing first week back, whether it was face to face, or the continuation of remote learning. It has been a quiet week at OSHC, with the children enjoying our brand new games and books, as well as spending lots of time outside and enjoying the sunshine.
With students soon to be heading off on camp (hopefully) we would like to remind parents to cancel their bookings for while their children are on camp. While we understand in the current situation it is difficult to plan ahead, we recommend that parents cancel these bookings at least a week in advance to avoid paying for these unneeded sessions, if the camp is cancelled or postponed you can always book back in if needed.
The return of warmer weather means that hats need to come to after school care as well as to school. This was an issue earlier this year, as few children brought their hats. It doesn’t have to be a school hat, any sun smart hat is fine. Maybe a spare hat could live in the bottom of the bag if children don’t want to remove their hats from their classrooms? We hope to spend as much time outside as possible so we really need your support in this matter.
Parents please be reminded that in order to use the service they need to be registered with Camp Australia… We are unable to accept children into the service who are not registered with Camp Australia. Bookings can be made or cancelled by logging into the Camp Australia website https://www.campaustralia.com.au or by ringing 1300 105 343, or using our parent portal app. The team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except National Public Holidays).
We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
