Our School Crossing Supervisors hold a much-valued role in our community, helping students and parents cross the road safely during peak school times. Traffic Changes
Please be advised there will be traffic changes at the intersection of Portarlington Road in Curlewis from Monday 12 July.
Bus stops
On Monday 12 July, the Drysdale bound bus stop at Portarlington Rd/Hermsley Rd will reopen. At the same time, the Geelong bound bus stop at Portarlington Rd/Curlewis Rd will close for three weeks.
The recommended alternative bus stop is located 2.5km east at the Portarlington Rd/Tivoli Dr intersection and the closest alternative bus stop is located 1.6km west at the intersection of Portarlington Rd/Bawtree Rd.
Side roads
On Monday 12 July 2021, access to/from Hermsley Road from Portarlington Road will reopen. At the same time, access to/from Curlewis Road will temporarily close to all traffic from for approximately three weeks. Please enter/exit Curlewis Road at the Bellarine Highway (see detour map attached).
The Bellarine Rail Trail, carpark and pedestrian crossing will remain open.
