Welcome back to OSHC for Term 4, and welcome back to school for those who have been doing remote learning. We hope everyone has stayed safe, happy and healthy, and found the school holidays relaxing and enjoyable. From all reports it was a well earned break.
This week we are welcoming everyone back to OSHC with a week celebrating friendships, as for many of the children it is the first chance they’ve had to play with their friends for some time.
In accordance with Camp Australia policy, upon arrival to the surface we will checking the temperature of children that are booked in to attend. We ask that, even though parents are no longer physically signing their children into the service (for the time being), they still need to bring their children into the service, instead of just dropping them off at the door and letting them walk into the service alone. This is especially important now because if your child records an elevated temperature of above 37..5 degrees Celsius you will be required to take them back home. Children who record an elevated temperature at the commencement of After School Care will be kept away from everyone else (while still being supervised), and parents will be contacted to collect as soon as possible. Please ensure that your contact details are up to date and that you are always contactable for the safety of your child, and for the safety of others as well.
OSHC at Drysdale Primary School operates out of the School hall. We open at 7:00 each school day, and children are at 8:50. Unfortunately we are unable to accept children into our care earlier than 7:00. Families can access the service through the hall glass door that faces out onto Stonehouse Place (tennis courts carpark). At 3:30, children attending after school care walk over to the hall and we provide a safe place for hem to play and engage with other children until they are collected by their parent or other authorised contact. Our closing time is 6:00, please ensure that you have collected your children by then. Late pick up of children may incur additional charges.
Parents please be reminded that in order to use the service they need to be registered with Camp Australia.. We are unable to accept children into the service who are not registered with Camp Australia.
A friendly reminder for parents that for staffing and catering purposes children should be booked into OSHC through the Camp Australia head office, and that should you need to cancel their booking please can this be done through head office as well. This works out much cheaper for you, as there are additional fees involved if children do not attend sessions they are booked in for. Bookings can be made or cancelled by logging into the Camp Australia website https://www.campaustralia.com.au or by ringing 1300 105 343…. The team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (except National Public Holidays).
We look forward to seeing you and your family soon!
From the Team at Camp Australia
