Ella of Year 2 – For displaying fantastic resilience at the Year 2 sleepover. Ella was so unsure but challenged herself. Congratulations on a great night!
Kai of Year 2 – Kai showed a great deal of resilience at the Year 2 sleepover. He pushed through a tricky time and was very proud of himself the next morning. Well done Kai!
Sienna of Year 3 – For her resilience in Maths so far this term. Sienna has been challenging herself to learn to tell time by looking at fractions of time in an hour. Great persistence, Sienna. Keep up the great work!
Ashlyn of Year 5 – For showing outstanding empathy towards a younger student who was having difficulty in the yard.
Hollie of Year 6 – For being an incredibly supportive friend to someone in their biggest time of need. The way you have conducted yourself in this tough time, has been highly commendable. You’re a great friend Hollie!
Max of Year 1 – Max it is so amazing to see how you have progressed with your learning this year. Your recent writing piece about the Prince in ‘Sleeping Beauty’ was written beautifully with some excellent WOW words and great sentence structure.
Olivia of Year 6 – For accepting the challenge and experiencing success when writing an essay in response to a discussion topic about a book you have read. I have been really impressed with the quality of your work! Well done superstar!
Ella of Year 3 – For the way Ella has challenged herself in Maths. She has enjoyed her learning and has successfully used a number line to show how she can count by thirds. Great work super star!
James of Year 2 – James you have shown great improvement in reading this year. You read texts with excellent fluency and use appropriate strategies when solving words. You are now choosing more challenging texts to read, keep up the great work!
Nic of Year 4 – Nic has shown determination and persistence throughout the year in obtaining his pen licence. Nic has improved his attention to detail and transferred his learning during handwriting lessons to his writing, earning him 10 pen points.
Amelia of Year 1 – Amelia you’ve accepted every new challenge in Year 1 with a positive attitude, especially your perseverance in handwriting where you’ve shown great improvements in forming your letters correctly! Keep up the great work superstar!
Kai of Year 1 – For working extremely hard to learn his M100W Gold words in the classroom. Keep up your wonderful learning attitude in the classroom, Kai!
Simranpreet of Year 1 – Congratulations Simran on your recent efforts at school with your reading and writing, you have made significant progress lately. It is nice to see you showing your positive attitude at school.
Jake of Prep – Jake has been working hard on his reading this term. He has been using his ‘eagle eye’ strategy to sound out the initial letter of the word. Jake has been working well in a small reading group and has shown that he is capable of listening and focusing on the task at hand. Jake is working well on his rainbow words and has gone up a level! Keep up the hard work Jake, we are all super proud of you.
Sophie of Year 5 – For her conscientious approach to her Learning @ Home. Sophie invests a lot of effort and always enjoys completing the optional tasks. Keep up the great work!
Zac of Year 3 – For his enthusiasm towards his writing so far this term. Zac is working towards an impressive writing piece that compares the perspectives of two different cultures. Keep up the fantastic work, Zac!
