On the last Friday of this term, we will be holding a Sports Colours Day. All students are invited to dress in their favourite sport colours or favourite sporting team colours; they will also need to bring a gold coin donation. The money raised will be split between two important charities.
Save our Sons is a charity that helps with all children living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Save our Sons is working to raise awareness for people living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. It affects one in 3500 boys and is very rare for a girl. The charity is fighting to find a cure.
Make a Wish partners with sick kids, their families and medical teams to grant wishes as unique as the children who imagine them. Earlier this week, we heard from Riley in Prep who flew to Adelaide to watch the Crows play. Thanks to the Make a Wish Foundation, he got to meet the pilots on the plane and had a personal training session with Tex Walker, Rory Sloane and Eddie Betts.
Stay tuned for some exciting announcements for next Term.
