The Junior School Council have chosen to support the Andrew Love Cancer Centre with this Term’s casual dress day.
This worthy cause was selected as there are so many families at Drysdale Primary School who are affected by cancer every year. The Andrew Love Cancer Centre is the place where every cancer sufferer from our region will head at some point for treatment and care.
The money we raise will go to a fund that purchases new equipment, develops new facilities and pays for important medical research.
We are asking that children dress in casual clothes with a beanie on the final day of term. Each participant is asked to bring a gold coin donation to support this worthy cause. If we are able to raise $1000 (only $2 per every student), we could have a brick with Drysdale Primary School engraved on it in the new paediatric rehabilitation centre.
