Holly of Year 2 – Holly is always displaying the school value of integrity in class. She often makes good choices when learning and is always willing to help others. This week Holly has completed all tasks to a high level with no reminders from the teacher. Holly brightens up everyone’s day with her positive attitude at school. Keep up the great work Holly.
Haylee of Year 4 – For your amazing work ethic. You are always very organised and methodical with your work. You take pride in all that you do and complete all tasks to a high standard. What a fantastic role model. Well done Haylee!
Nieve of Prep – For going about Art sessions with Integrity. Nieve you always work to your best ability, listen to and follow classroom instructions in Art. Well done Nieve!
Jett of Year 4 – For utilising his knowledge of multiplication to solve a difficult worded problem. It was fantastic to see Jett working effectively with a partner to solve the problem and explain his reasoning. Well done Jett!
Maya of Year 6 – For successfully catching up on your work after an extended time away from class, in particular for writing your imaginative historical narrative about Phar Lap’s first race. Well done!
Benji of Year 1 – Benji has accepted new challenges in Reading with a positive attitude and is having great success in achieving his Term 2 goal of scanning his eyes more smoothly through the text. Keep up the great work Superstar!
Mariah of Year 1 – Mariah is a happy and cheerful class member who always demonstrates the expected class behaviour. Mariah always works diligently in learning tasks and asks for help when required. It is so nice to see your smiling face everyday, well done Mariah!
Isaiah of Prep – Isaiah has recently completed all of the rainbow words. This is a wonderful achievement of which we are all very proud of him. Isaiah also completed a well written persuasive text on why Summer was better than Winter, which included well thought out reasons with explanations. Well done Isaiah, keep up the great reading and writing!
Cameron of Year 4 – Cameron successfully worked within a group to solve riddles during the Year 3/4 ‘Amazing Race.’ He was able to use his problem solving skills to contribute to his groups answers for both maths and logic riddles. Well done Cameron!
Eymyn of Year 3 – Eymyn has been very successful in his understanding and presentation in Maths on the concept of symmetry. Well done Eymyn, keep up the great work.
Lilly of Prep – Lilly has been working extremely hard and focusing on her learning both at school and at home. She has been practising her rainbow words, reading her readers every night, participating in class discussions and working hard to make text to self connections. As a result of all this hard work and perseverance, she has certainly experienced success with her reading. What a superstar!
Harrison of Year 2 – Harry has worked extremely hard on his handwriting goal this term. His progress has been fantastic and it’s hard to tell that his current work is written by the same person! Harry, you are a superstar! Keep up the great work!
Charlotte of Year 5 – For being a valuable and successful new player in the girl’s Tee-ball team.
Ivy of Prep – For always enjoying Art sessions. Ivy you always walk into Art with a giant smile, you are ready to learn and enjoy creating beautiful art. Great work Ivy!
Elijah of Year 3 – For his enthusiasm in maths last week. Elijah successfully built a symmetrical shape using Lego and explained where the line of symmetry was. Elijah’s eagerness to learn about maths is the first step in mastering his understanding of symmetrical objects. Keep it up, Elijah.
