Congratulations to this week’s Principal Award recipients;
Charlie of Prep – Charlie comes to school each day with a happy face, and he has a go at everything. When things don’t go as he expects, he is a great problem solver and a very flexible thinker. He is a kind and thoughtful student who always thinks about and cares for his friends. Congratulations Charlie on being a resilient student, what a superstar!
Jack of Year 1 – Jack you’ve accepted so many new challenges in Year 1 with a positive attitude, especially your perseverance in handwriting where you’ve shown great improvements in forming your letters correctly! Keep up the great work Superstar!
Dimitri of Year 3 – For displaying resilience all week during class time. Dimitri had injured his thumb and still came to school eager to participate in all classroom activities without complaint. Your dedication to your learning is fabulous Dimitri. Keep it up.
Tyler of Year 6 – For showing resilience and persistence to practise for and compete in the Indonesian competition. It was great to see you get out of your comfort zone.
Harvey of Year 4 – For very thoughtfully taking our new classmate under your wing this week. You have been a great role model demonstrating our school values. Well done Harvey!
Kaley of Prep – Kaley has shown a willingness to learn in all areas of the curriculum. She works with integrity, completing her learning tasks even when they are hard. She is resilient in all that she does, as well as being a kind, considerate member of the class. Kaley is also a great role model. Thank you for being kind and helpful in our class Kaley!
Remy of Year 3 – For showing great integrity, passion and enthusiasm during performing arts sessions. Remy you are always ready to learn, you follow all instructions and have tried really hard to learn some tricky musical arrangements. Keep up the great work!
Daisy of Year 5 – Daisy has consistently demonstrated the very highest levels of integrity at school. Daisy always listens intently to instructions given, ignores distractions around her and can be trusted to perform any extra responsibility given to her. A brilliant ‘quiet’ achiever!
Sienna of Year 1 – For achieving success in music to sing with great effort and harmony and learning to play Hot Cross Buns on the marimba. Great work Sienna.
Thelma of Year 1 – Thelma I am so impressed by the way you always get on with your work and go about daily routines with such confidence. You are happy to explore your ideas in writing and record them. Your independence shines through every day and I love reading and sharing your work with you. Keep up the enthusiasm for your learning.
Kaitlyn of Year 2 – Kaitlyn has demonstrated the value of success by achieving her goal of sharing her ideas with the class. Kaitlyn regularly shares her ideas during class discussions and is always willing to discuss strategies, ideas and successes during reflection time. Well done Kaitlyn, keep up the great work!
Isabelle of Year 3 – Isabelle wrote an excellent plan and draft in narrative format. She used very good setting out and use of description language. Isabelle spoke very clearly about her plan and draft to the grade when it was recount time. Well done Isabelle.
Astrid of Year 4 – Astrid has achieved an improved introduction to her writing in her story ‘The Box’ by including a sizzling start. Astrid was able to explain how it grabbed the reader’s attention early on
in her work.
Christian of Year 5 – Christian, great job writing your narrative this week. You had some great ideas that you were able to turn into your story. You used the correct structure and some great descriptive language. Keep up the great work.
Ruby of Year 2 – You have shown such enthusiasm during class in all areas of learning. I have enjoyed you sharing your knowledge on each topic we have been learning. Well done Ruby on a great weeks work, keep it up.
Jenaya of Year 6 – For showing enjoyment with all areas of her schooling. You regularly put your hand up to do extra responsibilities and curricular activities and you always perform these with a big smile on your face.
