On the last day of this term we are holding a major fundraiser called Obstacool. The children will be challenged to navigate under, over and through a series of obstacles set up around the oval. Staff and students will do this in house groups and are asked to wear their house t-shirts for the day. If they would also like to wear accessories e.g. hair ties in their house colours this will be welcomed too.
Children are asked to seek sponsorship for their participation in this event, hopefully everyone has set up their online profiles as these are used to order the students prizes.
Prize ordering is open online from the 6th of April until the 12th of April, please be aware this is during school holidays. Any cash donations collected must be handed into the office by the morning of Friday, 5th of April to be processed for prize ordering. Please note that administration team will be unable to process any cash donations after midday on the last day of term.
Events like these cannot happen without volunteers; come and be a part of the fun, sign up at http://signup.com/go/jUNWhTP
The money raised from this event will go towards stages 1 and 2 of our landscaping master plan. This is the development of the area behind the football goals on the Clifton Springs Road side of the oval. The GaGa pit will be moved there and become part of an amphitheater with seating that can be used as an outdoor classroom. We are also planning to construct a gravel cycle track which can be used as part of our Bike Ed Program. This is primarily intended for our Year 5 and Year 6 students. This means that over time all the children currently at our school will be able to benefit from this enhancement to our natural environment.
