Congratulations to this week’s Principal Award recipients who were awarded their certificates in Assembly on Monday morning.
Noah of Year 6 (Resilience) – Noah’s attitude towards his schooling is first class. He demonstrates all our school values regularly, however his resilience is really shining through. Whether it is a challenging situation in the yard or adding fractions in maths, he continually pushes and bounces back with a smile on his face.
Kaley of Prep (Acceptance) – For showing acceptance to all students in her class and following all instructions during Performing Arts. Kaley accepts new challenges and this has helped her learn new dances and complete tasks with ease and enthusiasm. Well Done Kaley!
Indee of Year 5 (Acceptance) – For being kind to her classmates, being willing to work with others during class activities and for being a great team member.
Zara of Prep (Integrity) – Zara always listens to and follows instructions, she makes strong choices and always shows care and consideration for her classmates. She is a kind, thoughtful and considerate class member and she is a delight to be around. Thank you Zara for being such a strong, positive role model for your peers.
Zac of Year 3 (Integrity) – For showing integrity during his group dance task to create an African dance. Zac showed leadership, working well with his group to construct appropriate moves and form a sequenced routine. Epic work Zac!
Kiarra of Year 4 (Integrity) – For being an excellent representative of DPS on our Geelong community excursion. You attentively listened to the storyteller and tour guide, and displayed many traits of our school value integrity everywhere we went. Well done Kiarra!
Josh of Year 4 (Integrity) – For displaying integrity whilst on the Year 4 excursion to Geelong. It was fantastic to see you engaged in the activities, asking purposeful questions and respecting the rules of the places we visited. Keep it up Josh!
Aurora of Prep (Success) – For her amazing attitude towards learning. Aurora works extremely hard every day and is making big improvements in her reading, writing and maths skills. Keep up the hard work Aurora and you will keep achieving your goals!
Devyn of Year 3 (Success) – For successfully completing her ‘Learning @ Home’ to an exceptionally high standard. She sets out her work creatively and ensures that she has done her very best handwriting. It is an absolute delight to see your work Devyn. You’re a star!
Zahlia of Year 5 (Success) – Zahlia has worked hard to achieve great success during Maths this week. She could find the area of rectangles, irregular shapes and triangles by applying the correct formula.

Brody of Year 1 (Enjoyment) – Brody you have consistently showed so much enthusiasm at school, always completing tasks happily and with a positive attitude. Keep up the great work superstar!
Dominic of Year 6 (Enjoyment) – Dom is our school captain for good reason. He continues to be an outstanding role model by treating others with kindness and respect. Dom has a thirst for knowledge and thoroughly enjoys learning new things on a daily basis.
