Congratulations to this week’s Principal Award recipients.
Nieve of Prep – Nieve has been working extremely hard to learn her sounds and words at home and at school. She can find these sounds and words in books and is starting to use them in her writing.
William of Prep – William comes to school each day ready to learn and always listens carefully to and follow instructions. William is working hard to be a very successful learner as he reads his reader every night, he practises his rainbow words, he participates in all Jolly Phonics sessions and has learnt all the sounds we have taught so far. William eagerly embraces every learning opportunities and he has achieved great success with his learning, due to his hard work. What a star!
Lakai of Year 1 – Lakai is always including others in group activities, showing amazing patience, communication and understanding towards all of his classmates. Keep up the great work Lakai!
William of Year 1 – For his effort and determination to master lower case letters. He has shown success with extra practise and concentration and his handwriting is improving every day. Keep up the excellent work, William!
Jayben of Year 2 – For showing resilience every morning when he arrives at school. Well done, Jayben for bouncing back each day!
Sebastian of Year 2 – For displaying integrity and showing that you are making great choices about your learning and attitude to school. Well done and keep it up.
Ronan of Year 3 – Ronan has shown that he can follow instructions promptly and without being reminded. He always maintains an appropriate noise level when completing his work. Well done Ronan, keep it up.
Marcus of Year 3 – For the Integrity he demonstrates daily through his interactions with others in our classroom. He always remembers to use his manners and waits patiently to share his ideas in class discussions. He is to be congratulated for the way he has been working very hard to complete his learning tasks. Keep shining Marcus!
Jack of Year 3 – For displaying great fielding skills during cricket in Phys Ed. Keep up the great work Jack!
Alyssa of Year 4 – For always working conscientiously and striving to do your best in all that you do. You are an excellent role model for your peers. Well done Alyssa!
Ava of Year 4 – For embracing new knowledge she has learnt on her Netbook and applying this to her Learning @ Home tasks. It is fantastic to see you showing enjoyment in your learning Ava, keep it up!
Gracey of Year 5 – For accepting the challenge of the Year 5 work, accepting others and accepting new situations. Well done Gracey, keep it up.
Chase of Year 5 – For always offering to help set up and pack up any equipment before and after lessons or in his lunchtime. Your great help doesn’t go unnoticed Chase!
Asher of Year 5 – Asher displayed some great listening skills this week and was able to use his inferential and literal reading strategies to discuss the first chapter of our class book.
Indi of Year 6 – Indi personifies our school value of Acceptance. She readily accepts challenges, like speaking with a louder voice in front of audiences. She also is accepting of others and often makes an effort special effort to show random acts of kindness.
Cohen of Year 6 – Cohen is a school leader for good reason. He shows incredible integrity at all times and is highly respected by his peers.
