In June and December we review the children’s assessments to check how we are progressing towards our goals as a school. Analysis of the results from the June reports show that, taken as a whole school, Drysdale students learn between five and ten percent more in a year than the average for children across the state. This is a great outcome and reflects the application of the children to their own learning and the ability of the teachers to bring out the best in the students. There are differences between children’s results as you would expect given that each child is an individual and our approach is to focus on the progress of each child as an individual. I would like to acknowledge the support we receive from families at home because, although we have the privilege of working with the children in school, the amount children learn reflects the partnership between home and school. Thank you.
