Over the holidays some fantastic colourful bench seating has been installed around the BER. This was installed to allow children somewhere to sit in and around the grassy area between the Year 1/2 and Prep classrooms.
Charlie and Casey Benson from Tasweld (for all your metal and welding needs) donated their time and expertise in for the supply and manufacturing of the seating. And, with assistance from Tim Edmonds and Morgan Westmoreland (and their very helpful kids), installed the benches over the holidays. We would like to send them a huge thank you for donating their time for this project, and particularly Charlie for all he did to make this seating happen. The seating was done with some of the money raised from the Colour Run earlier this year. Other projects that have been funded through this event are the line marking on the asphalt, equipment for the (now fabulous looking) shipping container, supplies for the working bees, funds for inquiry learning and kids matter, to name a few.
The balance of this money is currently being reserved for other outdoor projects that will be identified in the structured outdoor plan that is currently underway. So, in short, there will be more to come …. watch this space.
Sorry, nothing found.
