Congratulations to following Principal Award winners who were celebrated at Assembly this week.
Harley of Year 2 – Harley you have shown a level of engagement and enjoyment during our Inquiry Big Idea that has been fabulous to watch. The in class and Learning @ Home tasks you have completed have exceeded expectations. You have also connected this learning to our Numeracy Learning and Procedural Text writing! Congratulations Harley and we can’t wait to see the next experiment!
Elijah of Year 3 – For your positive attitude towards all aspects of the class. Recently you have shown your fabulous poetry skills. You approached this area of learning with enthusiasm. We really enjoyed your creative Limerick. Not only do you consistently contribute a positive attitude, you also contribute a wonderful smile. Well done Elijah.
Mia of Year 4 – For your hard work during our unit on prepositional phrases. You were confidently able to identify prepositional phrases in sentences and independently made the connection between prepositions and adverbs. Well done Mia!
Nathan of Year 4 – For completing an excellent newspaper article on the FIFA World Cup, showing great structure and including excellent facts. Keep up the great work Nathan ‘Messi’ Osmond!
Jenaya of Year 5 – Jenaya is a ray of sunshine in Year 5. Consistently performing at a high level, Jenaya is self-motivated to achieve success whilst also providing some lighter moments in our classroom. A true Year 5 superstar!
PJ of Year 6 – For always approaching tasks with motivation and a desire to learn. PJ’s work is always presented to a very high standard. You are a fantastic role model for your peers, keep it up PJ!
Ed of Year 6 – For stepping outside his comfort zone to contribute to class discussions and participate in activities outside of the classroom! It is fantastic to see you showing enjoyment in your learning Ed! Keep it up!
Koby of Year 5 (Acceptance) – Koby has made an amazing transformation this term. Koby has accepted classroom rules and expectations and goes out of his way now to assist others, including the teacher. A great success story. Well done Koby!
Eli of Year 3 (Success) – For your success during recent Maths sessions. Your enthusiasm towards Maths shines through and is reflective in the quality of work you produce. You enjoy an extra challenge and continue your enthusiasm for learning in Maths at home. Well done Eli.
Noah of Year 2 (Success) – For being an engaged and active mathematician during the last two weeks. Noah you have pushed yourself to increase your speed and accuracy when skip counting and asked for harder challenges and demonstrated clear understanding of translations! Great work!
Ruby of Prep (Enjoyment) – Ruby is always an engaged learner and she demonstrates enjoyment for all learning areas and activities. This enjoyment and love of learning was been demonstrated through her eager participation in the school swimming program. Each day she enters the pool with a ‘can do’ attitude and always tries her best.
