On the last Friday of this term, the Junior School Council have decided to have a casual clothes day to raise funds for Down Syndrome Victoria. We are also asking students to join in the Lots of Socks theme. Read more to find out what this entails.
World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on 21 March each year and here at Drysdale PS, we will be celebrating this day on the last day of this term.
We will join in the Lots of Socks theme created by Down Syndrome International. On the day, we ask students to dress in casual clothes, but also wear brightly coloured socks, long socks, printed socks, odd socks, one sock … maybe even three socks.
Everyone who participates is asked to bring a gold coin donation on the day. Our Junior School Councillors will come around and collect each class’ money during the morning.
