On Friday the 12th of May, the Year 3 students dressed up as olden day children and enjoyed pretending that their classroom was old-fashioned. They decorated their classroom as if it were the 19th century. They wrote with ink pens, and used chalk boards. “I thought it was fun, but sometimes it was scary because the teachers had big rulers and were pretending to smack them on our tables.”
Hugo“I thought it was really fun and the activities we did were enjoyable. Our teachers were acting like the ones from the olden days, we compared and contrasted what is was like Now and Then on a Venn diagram.”
Summer“I thought it was pretty nerve-racking because the teacher was very strict, but overall it was really fun.”
