The Year 5s performed a short play at the School Assembly last week that reminded students of what happens to the rubbish that is left on the oval. Unfortunately, a loveable character named Larry the Lobster choked on a zip-lock bag that was washed into the bay. He thought it looked like a jellyfish.
To help reinforce this message, various members of Larry the Lobster’s family have been on patrol at lunchtimes on the oval reminding students to place their waste in the bins.
Of course, if we all brought Nude Food or recycled our waste in the various recycling bins that are available, there would be no rubbish to drop on the ground!
