On Thursday 22nd February, the CARP Productions team came to visit our students at Drysdale Primary School. They performed an exciting and interactive play called “Proud to Be Me”. We saw the story of Phillip who was worried about finding new friends and scared of making mistakes and being a bit different. Through some fun songs, cool dance moves and role playing we all learnt that :
· It is okay to be different.
· We learn through our mistakes.
· Having and keeping friends make me and others happy.
All the students who watched this performance thoroughly enjoyed the fun, colour, laughter and adventure and also learnt some very important messages. This incursion has been a great experience in engaging all Prep students into understanding our inquiry big idea “We are all Prep, we are all unique and we all look after each other.”
Sorry, nothing found.
