Welcome to our New Staff


We would like to welcome some new staff members who have joined Drysdale Primary School this year.

Nicole

Nicole Alonso will be teaching Year 2 (2A) and is also our Literacy Learning Specialist. Nicole is coming from a Leading Teacher role at Northern Bay College (Hendy Street campus) where she has been the Prep to Year 2 leader. She also has experience of running their inclusion program and their literacy program.

Tamara

Tamara Rogers will be teaching in Year 5 (5A), taking over the position of Jo Black who is continuing a secondment as Acting Principal at Oberon South PS. Tamara joins us from South Geelong PS, having had previous experience at Wallington and in Gippsland.

Brooke

Brooke Smith will be joining our Year 6 team (6S) and has moved down to the Bellarine from Bayswater PS in Melbourne. Brooke was appointed last year and has already met her class on the Shuffle Up Day.

Amy

Amy Callaway will be sharing a Year 3 class with Mrs Van Winckel (3CV) and has recently relocated from Melbourne where she worked at Croydon Special School.

Jillian Bradbury will be joining the Office Team in Week 2 when she relocates from Melbourne.

We would also like to welcome back Terry Bradford who has returned from leave and will be teaching his Year 3 class (3B).

There are also two 4th year Deakin Students who are both teaching in Year 6 this year. Breearna Zivic will be working in 6K with Mr Kennedy and Sarah Greaves will be in 6H with Miss Howard.
