Towards the end of the week an important letter will be coming home with information about the 2018 charge for Essential Educational Items, also known as School Fees. Almost all of the costs associated with educating the wonderful children at Drysdale Primary are met by grants from the government through the Department of Education and Training. Schools have a small additional charge to cover the cost of materials that the children actually take possession of e.g. exercise books and other stationery items, this charge also covers the cost of items such as software licences, specialist resources and materials. This letter also contains information about how parents can spread the annual cost ($200 per student) across the full year. This works out at just $5 per week or $1 per day.
