Whole School Transition

Our Final Whole School Transition for our 2023 classes is next week, Tuesday December 13th, 9:30am – 12pm. This will be the session students meet their proposed 2023 classmates and teachers.

Having the 4 sessions this year for all students coming to DPS in 2023 has been a wonderful opportunity for students to build connections with new people and staff and get to know more about what to expect in the coming year.

Please note: Noone will be open on Tuesday if any family would like to try on or purchase uniform for 2023.

We ask families of students with an EpiPen to contact the school to arrange collection.

Please advise the school if your child will be away on Friday 16th December via email so other arrangements can be made drysdale.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Working Bee

Thanks to the amazing helpers who came out in the heat of Sunday morning to help clean up part of our school grounds.

There was a huge amount of work to be done and it was great to make a start at cleaning up our veggie garden and around the front of the middle years classes.

Even in the heat we still had some super helpers, special thanks to Charlotte, Henry, Adam, Eliza, William, Sophie and their families.

Please see read more for before and after photos that show the hard work that was done to help keep Drysdale Primary School looking neat and tidy.

Please keep an eye out early next year for our next Working Bee and hopefully we can have many more hands helping out.

Thanks again to our fabulous helpers who assisted last Sunday.

Camp Australia

It is hard to believe that it is nearly the end of the year. Christmas has well and truly arrived at OSHC, with the children enjoying a wide range of festive themed activities.

We are pleased to announce that we will be open and running Pupil Free Day programs on the 19th and 20th of December for those that need care for their children on these days.

On a sadder note, these final few weeks of term will be the last for Camp Australia at Drysdale Primary School. The OSHC service will be closed between December 21st and January 9th to allow Camp Australia to move out and Their Care to move in.

The entire Camp Australia: Drysdale Primary School team would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank the Drysdale Primary School community for their support for the last nine years, to wish everyone a very happy, healthy, safe and enjoyable festive period, and all the very best of wishes for everything 2023 brings your way.
