Uniform Sale

When we changed our uniform supplier, we inherited a number of unsold stock items from our previous supplier. We have now negotiated prices for these items to be sold through our second hand uniform shop.

These items are new but in the previous uniform design. Our uniform policy allows for a transitional period when the former design can still be worn through to the end of 2023.

Prices have been slashed!

Stock is limited.

Price List

Short sleeve polo tops with school logo in various sizes $18 each
Long sleeve polo tops with school logo (limited range    $20
Winter jackets – three different designs to choose from $25

Our second hand uniform shop opens on Tuesday mornings from 8.45am to 9.15am and again on Friday afternoons from 3.15pm to 3.45pm.

Athletics Day – New Date Tuesday 9th August

We postponed our scheduled athletics day because parts of the oval are waterlogged. With the amount of rain over the last few weeks it is remarkable that the whole oval is not underwater.  We have had to rescheduled our school Athletics Day to Tuesday August 9th.

I would like to thank Mitch Sinnott for the work he has already put into the organisation for this event and to Adam Shawcross and his team for his work in getting our oval ready for the event.

Adam and his team have worked tirelessly to get our oval ready for the event.

Road Safety : Clifton Springs Road

Please can I ask parents to observe the ‘No Standing’ signs immediately outside the front of the school on Clifton Springs Road. These are operational at times when the crossing patrol flags are displayed.

When parents pull in to drop their children in this area, they are obstructing other drivers’ view of the crossing patrol and children entering our school. This is creating an avoidable danger.

Thank you for your understanding.

Breakfast Club

Our popular Breakfast Club is back again this term, on Monday and Friday mornings from 8.30am til the music starts just before 9am. It has been great to see so many students coming by to get some food before heading to class. We know that some mornings can be a rush and that some students are arriving to school without any food in their stomach which can make trying to learn a challenge. We are very lucky to have the support of several local businesses to make this possible.

Feed Me Bellarine and Baker’s Delight have been very kind in ensuring we have fresh bread each week as well as different options including fruit and yoghurt. We are very grateful to have both places supporting our school and Breakfast Club in particular.

We have also had some donations from two other local groups – the Lions Club and the Uniting Church. Both groups have been very generous in donating money to support our Breakfast Club. This money means we can continue to run this year and into next year.

Thank you to the Uniting Church Op Shop and the Lions Club for your donation and support. This money will allow us to buy cheese for the 200+ toasties we make each week, as well as paper bags and spreads for the 80+ jam and vegemite toasts we go through each week. We are also hoping to purchase another fridge to keep our stock in.

Our school community have also been very kind in donations throughout the year. we are always grateful for these.

If you would like to support the Breakfast Club we are in need of brown paper bags, strawberry jam, vegemite and margarine. You can drop of your donations to the school office at any time, our wonderful Admin team always ensure they are passed on ready for Breakfast Club.

Thank you to the families that have donated items through semester 1, we are very appreciative and can’t thank you enough.

We look forward to serving our students each Monday and Friday through Term 3 and 4.

Camp Australia

It has been a fun filled start to Term 3 at OSHC. Last week featured a lot of time outside enjoying the Winter sunshine, and some rather chilly mornings. This week we are celebrating Pets Week. All of the children attending OSHC are invited to bring in a photo of their pets to add to our Pets wall, and we have a range of activities planned to celebrate the furry, feathered or scaly members of our families.

In regards to the current Covid situation we ask that if your child tests positive to Covid and has attended OSHC while potentially contagious or was booked into OSHC and now will not attend please contact our Customer Care team on 1300 105 343. This not only helps us follow our Covid Safe Plan and processes, but families will also benefit as they will not have to pay for any sessions of care that a child misses due to having Covid or for other covid related reasons.
