Drysdale Primary School

Sayembara Lisan Competition

We would like to congratulate Indi of Year 6 and Piper of Year 4 who came first and second respectively in their sections of the state Sayembara Lisan Indonesian speaking competition.  This is a wonderful achievement and a great recognition not just of their abilities but the quality of the Indonesian program at Drysdale Primary School.  Overall, ten of the thirty finalists at the primary school level came from our school.  We recognised their achievement in assembly yesterday and presented them with their certificates.  I would also like to thank their parents and Bu Hurt for their wonderful support in the lead up to the finals.

Semester 1 Reports

Tomorrow afternoon the Semester 1 reports will be available to parents through our parent portal.  This can be accessed via the usual link https://sentral.drysdaleps.vic.edu.au/portal/ .  The Principal team have read all the reports and added a comment to each child’s report.  It is wonderful to read of all the successes our students have had through their hard work and the staff’s great teaching.  We have such amazing children at our school.

We hope all of our children and families have a happy and safe holiday!

Spare clothes

Could we please ask where possible, for spare clothes to be supplied in your child’s bag particularly on wet days as we currently have lots of students requiring dry, clean clothes as theirs have become soiled whilst playing outside. Children are being advised to avoid wet, muddy areas of the school grounds. We are very low on spare items of uniform, socks and underwear.

If your child has been supplied with spare clothes from the school, could we please ask for these items to be washed and returned to the Administration Office at your earliest convenience.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Sports tops

Can we please ask for families to check at home for school sports tops. There were many sports events in Term 2 where sports uniforms were supplied to children who were participating.

Could you please check if your child/children have these school sports tops at home or in their bags and return them back to school this week.
