Prep Excursion to Fairy Park

Last Thursday our Prep’s enjoyed an excursion to Fairy Park to complement their work in Fairy Tales.

Fairy Park was good because we got to see the witch and it was really fun to press the frogs and go through the Aladdin cave. Trinity

I liked Pinocchio because I like the characters in the story. I liked the big castle because it was so high up. Ivy

I liked it when we I was getting wet from the big water wheel. My favourite thing was the playground. Jayden

There was fairy tales and my favourite one was Jack and the Beanstalk. I liked going to the playground, I was going up a pole, to the tunnel and down another pole. Connor

Fairy Park was fun because I got to see the Seven Dwarfs. My favourite thing was the dragon because the dragon was pretending to sleep. Patricia

I liked the playground because there were so many tunnels that went to different places. I liked Jack and the Beanstalk. Luke

2018 Prep Orientation

Our 2018 Prep students had their final orientation before starting school next year. They also enjoyed meeting their future Year 6 buddies for a tour of the school and welcome sausage sizzle.

Students vs Staff Sport

To finish off our House Sport competition we have been playing some Students vs Staff games over these last two weeks of term. The Basketball and Netball games went the way of the Staff, largely due to the height differential. But, with Cricket, Dodgeball and possibly Soccer to come, the Students are very keen to win some bragging rights over their teachers. Perhaps the culmination of all that activity might slow the Staff down as well!

This week’s Nude Food Winners are

BJ of Year 2 and Hollie of Year 4 they have received a Prize from Coles Drysdale!

The classes with the highest number of students with Nude Food were 2B and 4L.
