Camp Gundiwindi

On Wednesday the 6th of December the Year 3’s went on camp to Gundiwindi Lodge.

My favourite part was the giant swing. ELLA

Gundiwindi Lodge was fun. Why? They had a giant swing, flying fox and much more. I slept on the third bunk. I went yabbying! When it was time to go I was happy and sad. SAM

My favourite thing was the giant swing that was 16 metres high. I also had fun doing archery, damper, yabbying and survival skills. LYZA

We were on our way to Gundiwindi Lodge! It was about 3 hours away from school. My favourite activity was the giant swing and my second favourite was the flying fox. LIAM

I really liked holding the blue tongue lizards and it was cool knowing that one of them was pregnant. OWEN

My highlight of camp was the giant swing because when you pulled the rope you went straight down, it felt like you were flying. HARRISON

Camp Australia

Christmas time has arrived at OSHC, with lots of Christmas activities happening. The children have been working together to build a snowman using plastic cups, although as the week progressed it turned into a Christmas themed BB-8 from the Star Wars films. We have also been looking at some christmas themed books, with many of the children enjoying searching for Santa in “Where’s Santa in Australia,” a Where’s Wally style book.
