Drysdale Primary School

Online Safety

We take issues of cyber safety very seriously and regularly provide support for the children to help them make wise choices about how to use their devices safely. While we do intervene and work with children who make poor choices or send inappropriate messages to each other, the reality is that most of this happens long after school has finished for the day. There are usually age limits for children to join social media sites, for example, Facebook requires account holders to be at least 14, and guidance for parents on how to supervise their children’s use of these sites effectively. There is a lot of helpful information at https://esafety.gov.au/esafety-information.

Fresh Fruit – Parent Volunteer Year 3

Even though we request parent volunteers from a year level each week, if you have time to spare on a Friday morning we would love your help. We have a couple of parents who volunteer every Friday that would love some help.

This Friday, 3rd November, we are asking for parent volunteers of Year 3 students to help cut up fruit. If you can assist, please sign in at the office and come to the staff room at 9am.

Thank you to the Bendigo Bank for sponsoring our school’s fresh fruit.
